Towradgi bridge work to begin

WORK on the new Towradgi Creek footbridge will begin this month.
Sydney Water contractors are expected to start site establishment at the end of the month, with construction due to start in the first week of March.
Sydney Water will meet residents on site today (Thursday) at 5pm to update the progress on the works.
The proposal will see the bridge deck now extended over the entire pipeline rather than to mid point. A temporary sand platform will enable contractors to insert the bridge piles. Sydney Water will update local residents via a letterbox drop in the week that site establishment starts.
