Stinson led the way for Uni on day one with a priceless 67 as wickets tumbled around him.

Meanwhile, Balgownie will go into day two of their clash with Northern Districts seeking a big lead after securing first innings points on day one.

At Figtree Oval, a Steve Blissenden century put Wollongong in control of their match against Wests. Blissenden hammered 103 while Adam Day (42) and Amit Balgi (38) chipped as the Lighthouse Keepers amassed 9/270 (dec.).
Wests will resume at 0/11, 259 runs adrift of first innings points.
Meanwhile, Dapto will need 100 runs with six wickets in hand to claim first innings points in their clash with Corrimal at Reed Park.

Earlier, Scott Cox bagged 5/30 for Dapto while Graeme Batty scored 53 for Corrimal.
