Mt Ousley's Elyse Yardley was one of 67 northern suburbs athletes recognised at the Wollongong Lord Mayor's Sporting Recognition Awards.
SIXTY-SEVEN of the northern suburbs' brightest young sports stars were honoured at the recent Wollongong Lord Mayor's Sporting Recognition Awards.
Around 500 people attended the ninth annual presentation to witness 187 athletes, representing 19 different sports, receiving awards.
The event has come a long way since its introduction in 1998, when just four athletes were recognised.
