LYNETTE Philpott is delighted at the continuing popularity of the annual race meet she endorsed a number of years ago to perpetuate the memory of her late father, the much loved Linden Huntley Little.

Ms Philpott ows Slingsby Holdings, proud sponsor of the annual Linden Huntley Little Memorial,

As the premier event on the Bulli Harness Racing Calender, Lynette has embraced the day as an opportunity to rekindle the joy of harness racing that has captivated her since her first foray into the world of horse racing as a young girl.

With Linden's first race win on the Bulli track nearly 50 years ago, Lynette is thrilled to continue the family's rich association with the club.

Lynette's love affair with horses has filtered through to her business operations.

Her investment company Slingsby Holdings has progressively increased its stable to include the racing and breeding of horses in Australia and New Zealand.

This year's race final will have added emotion for Lynette and other racegoers as it falls on the anniversary of Linden Huntley Little's death.

With no pay ups, the race marks one of the largest fortuity races in the Southern Hemisphere.

Lynette has waived entry fees for the race as a continuation of the fair go philosophy her father carried through life and something she is sure he would give the nod of approval.
