IN PERFECT playing conditions, 75 junior golfers from 15 clubs with ages ranging from 8 to 18 years, teed off in the annual Russell Vale Youth Masters on Friday 20th April.
Masters winner with a par round of 59 was B Harris from The Grange from A Keevers of Bonnie Doon (63). Nett winner was D Humphries (The Grange) 56 from A Barnard (Port Kembla) 57.
Girls winner was J David (Port Kembla) 72 from E McNeill (Catalina) 77.
Nett winners were (Boys) M Haynes (Sussex Inlet) 53, from N Logan (Port Kembla) 54 c/b. Girls E Nikolich (Russell Vale) 51 from H McNeill (Catalina) 55.
The winner of the nine-hole cadet tournament was L Shaw (St Georges Basin) from J Clancy (Nowra) 22.
Russell Vale proudly boasts the winner of the Illawarra Junior Cup held in conjunction with the Youth Masters.
Elissa Nikolich is a member of the newly formed Junior Development Program, and returned a great score of 51.
