LAST Saturday saw the start of day one of Round 11 of the Illawarra Credit Union First Grade Cricket competition.

Northern Districts took on neighbours Corrimal, who dismissed Districts for 180 despite an outstanding 94 not out by Mitch Walters. Corrimal ended the day at 0-35.

Uni posted a tidy 256 in their match versus Keira who finished the day at 1-7.

Shaun Kempton posted a solid 86 for Uni while Adrian Ezquerro was best with the ball for Keira taking 4-47.

Dapto finished at 236 in their match up with Balgownie.

Chris Shepard provided some strong bowling attack taking 5-54.

Balgownie went into bat late in the afternoon establishing a start of 0-25.

Wests 267 were well lead by Andrew Tougher, 104, in their showdown with Helensburgh.

Brad Bell took 5-80 for Helensburgh who go in to the second day at 1-23

Wollongong declared at 8 for 233 with Steve Blissenden in fine form on 107.

However Port has made a solid start and sit at 1-96.

After Round 10 Corrimal sit just one point ahead of Keira with 46 points, while Port round out the table with 17.
