The Bellambi Junior Soccer Club players, coaches, officials and supporters gathered at the club’s presentation.

BELLMABI Junior Soccer Club celebrated its 50th anniversary with a presentation at Bellambi Surf Club on Saturday.

A massive crowd of the Rosellas’ players, sponsors, supporters and old hands attended the presentation, the centrepiece of the club’s milestone season.

A highlight of the presentation was the presence of founding payers Gerry Rutten, Rob Banks and Frank Brindley.

All the juniors received medallions marking Bellambi’s 50th anniversary.

Roxy Marin won clubperson of the year while under 15s player Jackson Fuller received a medallion for playing ten years with the club.

Players to receive five-year service medals included Kieran Peters, Josh Mayo, Toni-Jean Etherden, Ammy Lewis, Luke Bellamy, Jake Jones, Tayt Hickling, Liam Marin, Blake Hudson and Jamie Radlott.

Under 15s co-coaches Chris Hoswell and Luke Schumacher received five years’ service medals, as did under 10s mentor Dan Bellamy and under 9s coach Pat Marin.

In the under 6s, Kate Kershaw won the most consistent player award, Rob Tracey the most improved and Ben Merers to coaches award.

Billy Morgan was named the under 7s most consistent, Ebony Petre the most improved and Stacy Richards the coaches award.

Robert Charnock won the under 8s most consistent player award, Triston James the most improved and Taylor Hargraves the coaches award.

In the under 9s Liam Marin was named the most consistent player, Luke Ciantar the most improved award and Klaus Rauker the coaches award. Lachlan O’Gorman was named the most consistent player in the under 10s, Rhys Hegyi the most improved and Ashley Johnston received the coaches award.

In the under 11s, Mitchell Mainwaring was named most consistent, Brad King the most improved and Sharna Monroe won the coaches award.

Bellmabi’s under 12 awards went to Michaela Winkler (most consistent), Jesse Hugher (most improved) and Jayden Winkler (coaches award).

In the under 14 girls, Rikki-Lee Fuller was named most consistent, Jasmin Shaw most improved and Ammy Lewis received the coaches award.

In the under 15s Daniel Valdiva was most consistent, Lindsey Gallagher the most improved and Mathew Harding won the coaches award.

President Les Brown said the presentation capped a great year.
