I HAVE noticed recently, in myself and society at large, a fairly hefty chunk of fatalism.

When we hear about bad things happening or watch the government moving too slowly on something we tend to have a good old grumble, sigh, and then ignore it as best we can.

However, there are people who take another attitude. People like Ron Tindall of Corrimal (see story pg 6), who have a vision for what could be and ask, “how can I help make this happen”?

Where most people get bogged down thinking about how unlikely it is things will change, some dream big and do their best to get something moving.

I say good on them. If everyone thought like these people we might actually achieve some adventurous things.
