ILLAWARRA clubs had another successful weekend in the combined under 16As cricket competition.

Corrimal scored a 19-run win over Kiama while Wests scored an outright win over The Rail.

Shellharbour City claimed a measure of revenge for the South Coast with a first innings win over Thirroul.

Balgownie scored a big win over Helensburgh and Warilla Sports were too good for Lake Illawarra in the remaining matches of the under 16As round.

In the 16Bs, Albion Park scored a nailbiting first innings win over Wests Red in the only inter-association match of the round.

Wests Blue were too good for Balgownie, Port Kembla defeated Thirroul and Dapto were on top against Keira.

Shellharbour City scored a outright win over Kiama and Warilla Sports just scraped in against Oak Flats to complete the round.

In the under 14As, Corrimal scored a big first innings win over Warilla, while Dapto Blue scored a handy win over Kiama. Dapto Gold weren’t so lucky, losing to Wests on first innings while Balgownie were convincing first innings winners over Keira.

In the South Coast under 14B competition, Gerringong scored a stirring outright win over Oak Flats.

Kiama came within one wicket of doing the same against Shellharbour White, while Albion Park Gold scored a big win over Warilla.

The Albion Park Green side didn’t fare as well, going down to Jamberoo on first innings.

In the under 12A competition, Shellharbour White defeated Albion Park while Shellharbour Blue thrashed Kiama.

In the under 12Bs, Oak Flats defeated Lake Illawarra, while Jamberoo were too good for Kiama.

Albion Park Gold was too strong for Shellharbour while Gerringong scored a win over Albion Park Green.
