" The victorious Fernhill second grade women's side were one of the winners in the Illawarra Women's Soccer presentation night of nights.
BULLI'S Rebecca Petrovska has been named Illawarra Women's Soccer Association player of the year in the second grade competition.
The Women's Soccer Association Presentation Awards at the Masters Builders Club was a resounding success and capped off a superb season for Illawarra women's soccer. Four divisions were involved with Golden Boot and Player of the Year in the top grade taken out by Shell City Black's Michelle Heyman.
In second grade, besides Rebecca Petrovska taking out player of the year, Fernhills Falcon's Leanne Akhurst was named leading goal scorer. Stephy Morgan (Bellambi) won the coveted double of Golden Boot and Player of the Year in third grade, while Thirroul's Megan Wilson grabbed the Golden Boot and Kate Hillard (Albion Park) Player of the Year in 4th grade.
