THE Illawarra Stingrays have qualified for the final after beating North Sydney Koala Bears on penalties at Ian McLennan Park on Sunday.
In a physical encounter and in front of a large crowd, most of the game was played under lights.
They now take on Marconi on Sunday for a place in the grand final.
