Today will see the Northern Suburbs launch into Easter Holidays mode with the annual Community Easter Party and Hat Parade.
After the success of previous years, the parade – held at Clowse Park on Railway Avenue, Austinmer - will again be a main attraction in 2008.
Beginning at 10.30am, there will be face painting, professional storytellers, craft activities, plaster craft painting, treasure hunts, music and much more to keep crowds entertained.
Residents are encouraged to bring along their best Easter hat for the parade and the Easter Bunny himself is also expected to make a special visit to the park.
The cost of attending the parade is $5 per child – a price that covers all activities and can be paid at the gate.
Morning tea and coffee will be available and details are available by calling 4268 2041.
