HELENSBURGH recorded a crushing win over Wollongong in a round of the Illawarra two day cricket competition on the weekend.
In reply to Wollongong's 164, the Tigers piled on a massive 8 309, with Knut Wilmott scoring a fine 118.
Balgownie moved to the top of the table with an outright victory over a struggling Northern Districts side. The Butchers were knocked over for scores of 87 and 101, still 40 runs behind Bally's 7 - 228.
Corrimal also got the money over Keira in a photo finish. The Cougars first innings total of 97, in normal circumstances, wouldn't have been good enough. But Anthony Guido had other ideas with a terrific bowling effort claiming 7 15 as Keira fell one run short.
In other matches, University downed Port Kembla on the first innings and Dapto did likewise against Wests.
