Carnivale comes to town

On November 30 the stage of Anita’s Theatre in Thirroul will come alive with North Indian native dancers, magical Russian ballerinas, acrobatic drummers and lethal sword wielding warrior dancers.
And the one-off Illawarra performance, by an internationally acclaimed troupe of artists, will be available free of charge for all residents to enjoy.
“Le Carnaval Spirituel” are a fascinating troupe of performers who have delighted audiences worldwide with their colourful “joie de vivre” acts, bringing the stage to life with a rich tapestry of music, dance, yoga, martial arts and theatre that evokes the timeless wisdom of India’s ancient spiritual culture.
Established in 1979 in France, the troupe has toured extensively throughout he world enthralling audiences with their “out of this world” production.
The “Le Carnaval Spirituel” show will start at 7pm on Sunday, November 30, with doors opening at 6pm.
Vegetarian food will also be available.
