THE local derby between the Thirroul Butchers and the Corrimal Cougars was all one-way traffic as the Butchers sliced up the Cougars 54 6 at Ziems Park.
As a result Thirroul hold on to second spot on the ladder, but Corrimal are out of the running for a top 5 spot as they share last place with Port Kembla with just the two rounds remaining.
In Tooheys New Cup, leaders Bulli scrapped home 14 13 against Windang, while title contenders Norths won easily 40 4 against Woll/ University.
