Bulli blitzkrieg stuns Wanderers

Any thoughts the Wanderers and coach Matt Borg had of grandeur went to ground with a crushing 5-nil loss to Bulli.
Three quick goals in the last four minutes finished Warilla off. In the first half the Wanderers held the strong Bulli side scoreless, although the visitors had more possession and hit the cross bar once with the defenders clearing desperately.
Bulli coach Adrian Alston told his boys at the break to keep the pressure on he was not wrong, with his team taking the lead in the 50th minute with a goal from Matthew Naylor, followed in the 73rd minute with the second one by Alan LaProto.
Warilla had to attack, only to be caught short at the back when Bulli scored in the 88th through Michael Clare and then two goals in extra time added by Matthew Bailey.
Bulli had too much class overall dominating the game most of the time. Warilla did put in a lot of effort and worked hard but could not break the opposition.
