THE Red Cross' donormobile is celebrating a lifesaving 12 months on the road this week.
Australian Red Cross Blood Service spokesman Richard Webb said the service has travelled the Illawarra, South Coast and Southern Highlands regions tirelessly, collecting over 10,000 blood donations.
This week the mobile will be at Corrimal for its second visit giving the people of the northern suburbs the convenience of donating locally.
Blood donars at Corrimal will have the chance to win a trip to Germany to see the World Cup Final and three night's accommodation, as well as a plasma television.
The mobile will be located in the Underwood Street Council Car Park between Railway Street and Russell Street today (Thursday May 25) from 10am to 4pm and tomorrow (Friday May 26) from 9.30am to 4pm.
