A CENTURY by Beau Armstrong has given Oak Flats a big advantage heading into day two of their South Coast Junior cricket under 16A match with Kiama. Armstrong slammed an unbeaten 122 as the Rats reached 9/205 at stumps on day one. Meanwhile, Liam Mann hammered 86 to put The Rail’s under 16B in control against Keira. The Razorbulls tallied 169 while Keira will resume on Saturday at 1/14. Shellharbour City’s under 16Bs enjoyed a run feast as they racked up 7/277, despite the best efforts of Lake Illawarra bowlers Shane Faricy (3/40) and Matt Arblaster (3/48). In the under 14As, Shellharbour need 91 runs with eight wickets in hand against Dapto Gold (116). Balgownie will defend 169 when their clash with Kiama resumes on Saturday, while Albion Park (2/55) are in the box seat for first innings points against Corrimal (89). Dapto are on top in their clash with Warilla Sports.
