BALGOWNIE basketball player Renae Camino was recently named in the 12-player national Opals team that will tour China at the end of the month.
This is another feather in the cap for the brilliant 19-year-old, who has fully recovered from a serious knee injury that kept her out of action for nine months and made her unavailable for Australia's team that won the gold medal at the Melbourne Commonwealth Games in March.
However, Renae's latest selection for the Opals has certainly helped to make up for that setback.
"I'm absolutely stoked," the former Keira High School student said.
With a good performance in China, Renae is certain to stake a strong claim for selection in Australia's side for the World Championships in September in Brazil.
