Thirroul - "A party of three, consisting of Messrs S Davies, T Meekan, and F Fleming, met with a motor accident during the week. It appears they were proceeding in Mr Davies' motor car to Coledale, and when nearing Thirroul they met a fruit cart coming up the hill, and to avoid colliding with the cart, Mr Davies turned the car over an embankment into some lantana bushes& coming in contact with lantana bushes is not too pleasant at any time, but to be thrown into it at the rate of six miles an hour is not a thing to be desired. It is miraculous how the three men escaped&"
Corrimal - "It is reported that a new seam of coal, four feet in height, has been struck in Corrimal Colliery. This is a good indication that the coal in this district is not worked out by a long way."
Bulli Police Court "James Buckie, charged that he did throw stones to the annoyance of residents, pleaded guilty. Fined 5 shillings."
Woonona "Four rinks from the Burwood Club visited the Woonona green on Saturday last and played a very enjoyable game with the lawn bowlers."
